Instructions | Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent the seeds from sticking. Roasting the Flaxseeds: Spread 400g of flaxseeds evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the seeds are in a single layer for even roasting. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Roast the flaxseeds for about 5-7 minutes. Stir the seeds halfway through to ensure even roasting. Keep a close eye on the seeds as they can quickly go from perfectly roasted to burnt. Cooling the Flaxseeds: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the roasted flaxseeds to cool completely on the sheet. This helps to prevent moisture from forming in the storage containers. Measuring and Packaging: Once the flaxseeds are completely cooled, measure out 200g portions using a kitchen scale. Transfer each 200g portion into an airtight container or resealable bag. Ensure the containers or bags are sealed tightly to maintain freshness. |
