The National Seeds Corporation Limited (NSC) is a Government of India Undertaking, established in 1963 with the objective of producing and distributing quality seeds of improved varieties of agricultural crops. NSC is the largest seed producing and distributing agency in the country with a network of 8 regional offices, 24 state offices, 130 district offices and more than 1000 field offices. NSC has a wide range of seeds of various crops including cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, flowers and fodder crops. NSC also produces and distributes certified organic seeds. NSC has a strong network of seed production farms and processing plants across the country. NSC is committed to providing quality seeds to farmers at affordable prices and has been playing a vital role in the development of agriculture in India.
