Aglaonemas are outstanding shade plants, one of the most cultivated in ornamental plants/ horticulture.They are also know as Chinese evergreens. This is one of the strap-leaved varieties of agalaonema hybrids that are rarely seen outside of Thailand. This one has dark green leaves streaked with white variegation, and white leaf petioles. Prefers diffused sun or good indirect light. Avoid placing in direct sun and use well-drained, peaty potting mixture.Proper care for Aglaonema starts with its proper placement. Light:Your task is to find the area that receives less indirect light or bright day light. The plant often shows the best color in medium or dappled light indoors. It's best to diffuse strong sun with a sheer curtain to avoid leaf sunburns, if placed in a sunny area. One of the basic care instructions includes wiping the leaves with a moistened cloth to remove dust and dirt. Misting the plant also helps to remove the dirt from the leaves.
