This beautiful, heavily embroidered Gujarati Chakda is a decorative piece used to decorate the homes of the Saurashtra area of Gujarat. Chakras embroidery work is all hand-stitched and is usually filled with symbolic image, which is traditional folk art icons. It is also decorated with beautiful embroidery around small mirrors which signify good fortune and in just the right light will gleam, like sunlight on a pond.

Washing Instructions – Hand Wash only in cold water with mild detergent. Do not wring or bleach. Dry flat in shade.
