The combination also reduces the AHTD (Accumulated Hard Tissue Debris) and prevents smear layer formation during rotary instrumentation. Single Step Irrigation Antibacterial, Proteolytic & Lubricating Agent Faster pulp tissue dissolution Mild Chelating agent. It is used as single step irrigation solution in endodontics. It acts as a mild chelator which does not interfere with NaOCL action. Short term compatibility once solution prepared should be used in 120 min.It does not allow smear layer to built up thereby increasing the penetration of hypochlorite when used together.
