Product Description -

One of the by-products we make from cow dung is dried cow dung cake (upala).  Dried cow dung cakes have deep roots in Indian tradition.  Farmers in villages use these dried cow dung cakes as fuel for cooking.  They are also used for Havan (hom or sacrifice) as it has many auspicious properties.

We make cow dung cakes naturally by hand.  Small cow dung cakes are made by mixing fresh local cow dung and cow urine thoroughly.  These are dried in the sun for 4 to 5 days to make them usable for cooking, havan or agnihotra.
