The Pat Mekhela Sador is a traditional Assamese garment made from Pat silk, a type of silk fabric produced in Assam, India.  Pat silk is a type of silk fabric known for its softness, durability, and lustrous texture.The Sador Mekhela contains three parts-Mekhela ,Sador and blouse.

 Mekhela: The mekhela is the bottom portion of the garment, draped from the waist downwards.

Sador: The sador is the top portion, draped around the chest and back.

The blouse worn with a Pat Mekhela Sador is integral to the traditional Assamese attire. The blouse is typically made of the same Pat silk fabric as the Mekhela Sador.
