Muskmelon is a melon with a netting on the outside. It has a sweet taste and a somewhat orange-colored flesh. Because of its cooling effects it is most commonly consumed throughout the summer. It's preferable to serve it chilled. For a longer shelf life keep it in a cool dry area.
