Hakaphos® Basis 2 is an NPK fertilizer with magnesium, boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc. In basic fertilizer concepts, Hakaphos® Basis 2 is the ideal partner for K-accentuated and P-reduced mixtures thanks to its low nitrogen content with an NPK ratio of 1: 3: 13. Hakaphos® Basis 2 and the N partner fertilizer are used in mixing ratios of up to 1:1. Due to the free choice of nitrogen form in the partner fertilizer, Hakaphos® Basis 2 is particularly suitable for taking into account different crop requirements and changing raw water qualities in irrigation fertilization. The NPK ratio in Hakaphos® Basis 2 is designed so that no change in the pH value in the substrate is to be expected when supplementing with ammonium nitrate (18% total N, half as NO3-N and half as NH4-N). In combination with ammonium sulphate (sulphuric ammonia) the pH value is lowered. In combination with nitrate of lime (15.5% N, 19% Ca) it is increased. The trace element content and the magnesium content are adjusted so that the culture requirements are secured. The metallic trace nutrients iron, copper, manganese and zinc are chelated to protect against build-up and are therefore available to the plants for a long time.
